About Us

Voice of Uranus Sdn Bhd ( VOU ) has been registered in Malaysia in 2008 as an IT consultant company. later developed as an investment consultant, business development and finance consultant firm. In 2013 , the company focused back on its initial objectives as IT and web development company and by 2017 , it has developed SaaS platforms unique in B2B and Fintech.

VOU is among the rare IT companies having wide range of experience in business development having a business point of view in IT rather than a purely technical approach to projects. Such a background has enabled VOU to create new platforms which are normally done by joining a few different companies each expert in a unique field whereas in VOU cases, all have been done by an IT company only.

In 2019, VOU has undertaken support for Menumiz app which is an EPOS system from “ Universal Apps

  • Subbarayudu Thunga Tech Lead

    Subbarayudu left Intel to join VOU in 2019 as an experienced full stack developer to lead the team of 9 programmers. Subbu has years of working experience as a senior software engineer and has brought values to VOU projects. Subbarayudu first mission was to enhance Menumiz by changing its core technology and has been the key person in NOVIDIC project. Subbarayudu is a dedicated , disciplined and professional tech lead and opens new windows of knowledge and exposure to the team always.

  • Arash Aalaei CEO and Co-founder

    Arash established VOU in 2008 to peruse his dreams of a tech company bringing to life his tech ideas. However, it took a while until he could do what exactly he wanted to do and his first projects were Fintech related. By 2017 Arash changed route from Fintech to Hospitality industry as he believed technology has not touched dining industry much so far and there is a lot of room to develop in dining industry. Menumiz was born in late 2017 and has been a complex ongoing project under Arash’s direct management and design and scrutiny.

    The first version of Menumiz was launched in Jan 2020 in Malaysia whereas things went wrong by COVID-19 outbreak. Arash immediately started new project , NOVIDIC as a response to COVID-19 contact tracing and pandemic management needs. NOVIDIC is a successful project being used in Australia, Malaysia and the UK for contact tracing.

    Arash is mastermind of VOU projects and is obsessed with innovation, creation and change and is always thinking how to make things better.

  • Shujak Karmani Director

    Shujak joined VOU back in 2016 as a fresh graduate software engineer. He has been working hard to learn and discover and today he is one of the VOU directors and plays an important role in the team of developers.
